Boy have I been successfully expanding my stomach!
I dont think have had a home cooked meal...ok in only about 3-4 days no make that 2 lol.
New Years day brought about issues with food and me getting any access to any.
The five of us visited Newtown thinking - 'It's just gotta be open....' welll yes there were cafes open but sadly yes they were all extremely packed! We walked and walked and finally got in at El Bahsa where their coffee machine (damn damn damn) was broken so Rod and I had to go next door to Citrus to get a coffee. I must mention right now - Citrus, absolutely on my banned list. Rude slow service, thats all i have to say, we even got a customer who wanted a coffee at El Bahsa's NOT go to to Citrus for their coffee - Great Success!!

Ahh El Bahsa wasnt that good either, the bacon was so salty, the eggs were fried (with no other options), the toast wasnt buttered, I got an end of tomato (not that I even like tomato but seriously), the sausage...well that was pretty good and the berlotti beans which i ordered as a side were hard but definately the meal saviour.
The evening was ThaiTanic where I accidentally did not take any pics but i must mention they took their Tofu Tods off the menu to mine and Rod's dismay however they still made some for us yey!! The thing about ThaiTanics Tofu Tods is that they are crispy on the outside and oozingly soft on the inside YUM other places like Newtown Thai II have tofu Tods that could be used as weapons - they are rock hard.
I also ordered Kee Mao noodles as I felt like i needed more chilli in my life - Big Mistake. This was like noodles covered in small fresh chillis i was crying, blowing my nose, drinking litres of water all at the same time. Very very hot more hot than i could ever imagine - i really need to just stick to my Pad See Eww.

I agree entirely.
This post was just spot on, mirrored my thoughts to the smallest detail. I would be underrating this blog if i were to simply categorise it as a godsend, as the quality of content, and the overall design, as well as the mind bendingly difficult to pronounce heading just puts it above any title that the english language would possibly bestow upon it.
When a person tries a recipe from this blog, and gets it right, an angel gets its wings.
tony - thanks love your work!
